Access to Care & Payment Information

At Invictus Smart Performance, we are a cash-based, out-of-network provider. This approach allows us to offer high-quality, individualized care without the restrictions or limitations imposed by insurance companies. Here's why we’ve chosen this model and how it benefits you:

Why We Don’t Accept Insurance

  1. Personalized Care: Insurance plans often dictate the type, duration, and frequency of treatments. By operating outside of insurance networks, we can focus solely on your needs and goals without compromise.

  2. Time-Efficient Service: Avoid delays associated with insurance approvals and referrals. We get started on your care immediately.

  3. Transparent Pricing: Our clear and straightforward pricing ensures there are no hidden fees or unexpected costs.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Many insurance plans provide out-of-network reimbursement for physical therapy services. We can provide a detailed superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. In many cases, working with an out-of-network provider can be more cost-effective than paying for care limited by insurance coverage.

Medicare Policy for Wellness Services

We provide only wellness services to Medicare patients because we are an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans, including Medicare. This means we are unable to bill Medicare for physical therapy services. However, we’re still committed to supporting your health through personalized wellness programs designed to improve mobility, strength, and confidence.

Georgia Law on Direct Access to Physical Therapy

Under Georgia law, patients have the right to access physical therapy services directly without a physician's referral. You can begin treatment immediately, saving time and simplifying the process of getting the care you need. However, direct access is limited to 8 visits or 21 days, whichever comes first. After this period, a referral may be required to continue care. If you have questions about direct access, we are happy to assist.

Georgia Law on Dry Needling Services

In Georgia, state law requires a physician’s prescription for dry needling before treatment can be administered by a licensed physical therapist. If you're considering dry needling for pain relief or performance recovery, consult your physician to obtain a prescription before scheduling your session.
